Rose Ranger is a multi-disciplinary performing artist who was raised on the North Shore of Vancouver and immersed in the world of arts from an early age. Rose studied dance, theatre, music, creative writing and soon began penning her own songs. She has spent time pursuing her craft at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, Capilano University and the University of British Columbia. She continues to take private classes here and there, and for creative inspiration, she travels and draws from her childhood experiences, which included listening to her parents records from the 70’s and 80’s era and watching Hitchcock movies.
Rose's music can be heard in a wide variety of shows airing on television and in film. Her singles have been spun on commercial and public radio, including her latest pop single "Beautifully Broken" which was nominated for best pop song by the Independent Music Awards.
With five albums and an array of singles distributed through Pacific/Warner Music, Rose has toured and performed through parts of Canada, America, Mexico, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and on cruise ships in the Caribbean. She has also traveled solo with her ukulele through Spain and Portugal where she was mistakenly targeted as a drug mule by the Canadian Border Security. But that's another story...
Notable music producers that Rose has recorded her music with include, Ryan Stewart (Carley Rae Jepsen), Nick Bearden (Jamestown Revival), Steven Drake (Odds), Mark Makoway (Moist), John MacArthur Ellis (The Be Good Tanyas), and Tom Coyne (Mastering Engineer),
After experiencing a serious injury which provided Rose much personal reflection, Rose decided to go back to her acting roots and booked her first role on The Good Doctor pilot episode (although some of the scenes ended up left on the cutting room floor including hers). Since then, Rose has filmed roles on Supernatural, Sacred Lies, and Arrow.
Rose is currently spending her time songwriting and writing comedy.
